This June we hosted over 35 German, Austria, & Sake producers across sixteen cities, from SF to NYC (yes, West to East… it was as intense as ever!), to share as much Riesling, Grüner, Spatburgunder, and more, with YOU!
It’s been several years since our last tour, but this June we were able to welcome back old friends, introduce new ones, and present the superb 2021 vintage. A “modern classic,” this year’s releases satisfied wine lovers everywhere with their elegant, cool-climate character, excellent structure, and bracing freshness.
We introduced Dr. Bürklin-Wolf, Domaine Ciringa, and Fio, and welcomed back fantastic growers like Alzinger, Dönnhoff, Merkelbach, Nikolaihof, Selbach-Oster, Schloss Gobelsburg, and many more!
We were also able to welcome several of our Japanese sake makers to the US for the first time, and were thrilled to have them share their insight and passion for this delicate and beautiful beverage. Brewers from all over Japan, including those from Niizawa, Hamakawa, Isojiman, and more, converged in New York for your tasting pleasure!
