"The 2024 Langhe Nebbiolo is terrific. Aromatic, deep and also quite structured, Pira's Langhe Nebbiolo is a rare wine in its peer group that can stand up to just about anything at the dinner table. Macerated cherry, graphite, incense, tobacco and scorched earth all race out of the glass in style. This is worth looking out for."

"Pouring a jeweled ruby color, the 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo is expressive on opening, with an inviting nose of preserved cranberries, pressed roses, and cinnamon candies. The palate is medium-bodied and well-structured, with well-defined, compact tannins, an even spine of acidity, and a chalky texture on the finish. It is a very appealing Langhe Nebbiolo with a good deal of personality to drink over the coming 4-5 years."

"The 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo is a gorgeous entry-level wine from Pira. Beautifully perfumed and seductive, the 2021 possesses tremendous inner sweetness and exceptional balance. Macerated cherry, dried herbs, spice, orange peel and incense all open in this gorgeous, captivating Langhe Nebbiolo. Expressive floral and savory top notes reverberate on the finish."

"A graceful red, offering cherry, strawberry, floral and earth flavors. Balanced, with a hint of wild herbs on the lingering finish. Firm but relatively accessible for the vintage, so decant now or wait a few years. Drink now through 2027. 500 cases made, 150 cases imported."
