"Malvira is a major producer of Roero and Arneis, but in recent years it has also made this Barolo from a vineyard in La Morra, aged in tonneaux. The red-fruited nose is delicate and perfumed, while the attack combines juiciness and freshness,. Overall it's a lean style, yet it doesn't lack a degree of volume and weight. The finish is spicy, complex and quite long. It is easily the best vintage of this wine I have encountered."
