"A tangy Barbaresco that shows pretty notes of sour cherries, orange rind, allspice and ground coriander on the nose. Medium-bodied, zesty and chewy, with firm yet fine tannins. Attractive already but better from 2026."

"The 2021 Barbaresco is a tasty entry-level offering from Moccagatta. Sweet floral, cedar and spice notes weave through a core of racy dark red fruit. Another year or so in bottle should help the elements come together more fully. Vineyard sources are Basarin, Cottà and Bric Balin."
