Skurnik Wines & Spirits and High Road Spirits to Support Relief Efforts in Haiti
Through the remainder of 2021, Skurnik and High Road Spirits will donate all wholesale profits from every bottle sold of San Zanj and Ak Zanj Rums, and Ayiti Bitters, to provide emergency assistance to those displaced by the recent earthquake.

By now, most are familiar with the recent string of devastating events gripping Haiti and the many wonderful humans who inhabit its cities, departments, towns, villages, and homes. Following the assassination of Haiti’s President, Jovenel Moïse, in early July and the civil unrest that resulted, an August 14th earthquake crippled the people of Saint-Louis-du-Sud and the departments within Haiti’s eastern mountains. Haiti was then delivered a knockout blow by Hurricane Grace, inflicting further damage and impeding the efforts of Haitian authorities and international communities attempting to provide desperately needed relief.

Skurnik Wines & Spirits is fortunate to partner with our friends and supplier-partners, High Road Spirits, in contributing to the ongoing relief efforts in Haiti. Through the remainder of 2021, Skurnik and High Road Spirits will donate all wholesale profits from every bottle sold of San Zanj and Ak Zanj Rums, and Ayiti Bitters, all produced by the historic Haitian rum house, Berling S.A.

Proceeds will be donated to the International Organization for Migration which is providing emergency assistance (shelter construction, transport to medical facilities, emergency supplies) to those displaced by the quake. We hope you will join us in supporting the vibrant island nation of Haiti through the purchase and sale of some of its beautiful distillates.
