Antica Torino Vino alla China Bianco is an aromatized wine made similarly to vermouth but bittered with quinine rather than wormwood. Quinine, or china, is a potent extract derived from cinchona tree bark that has been used medicinally throughout South America, Europe, and Asia for centuries and is a common ingredient in many aromatized wines and amari. Use Vino alla China Bianco as you would Cocchi Americano or Lillet Blanc in classic cocktails such as the Vesper Martini, Corpse Reviver #2, and 20th Century, or pair with apricot juice and soda to create one of Antica Torino’s signature highballs.
