Vermouth Rosso

• Sweet red vermouth produced by Contratto in Canelli, Italy
• Base white wine derived from 100% Cortese grapes
• Extracts of 31 different herbs, spices, roots, and seeds featuring coriander, bay leaf, chamomile, cinnamon, ginger, angelica, clove, nutmeg, bitter orange, gentian, nettle, sweet orange, carob, juniper, rhubarb, hibiscus, sage, cinchona, lemon, elderberry, bergamot, licorice, and sandalwood
• Botanicals are finely crushed through a hammer mill and cold extracted with hydroalcoholic solution for over 20 days
• The resulting infusion is combined with the wine, sweetened with beet sugar,  and fortified with organic wheat-based distillate produced in Cuneo, Italy
• Filtered to remove all solids and rested in a stainless steel tank for 40 days
• Natural caramel added for color
• 180 grams per liter of sugar
• Aromas of black cherry cola, nutmeg, and oregano precede a palate of blackberry, gentian, and spearmint with white pepper, grapefruit, and wormwood on the finish
• Beer and Wine License eligible
• 17% ABV
