"The 2011 Roero Riserva Renesio has aged impeccably. It's a wine I did not taste on release but that I am very happy to check in on today. Black cherry, new leather, espresso and rose petal flesh out nicely. There's a bit more oak influence in the 2011 than there is in the wines these days, along with the warm style of the year. The 2011 is still a young wine that will age for at least another decade, maybe more."
