"A precise, layered, very floral wine with aromas of fresh violets, pomegranates, red cherries and a lot of licorice. Bracing acidity, a full body, elegant velvety tannins, a tight-knit structure and a long, defined, savory aftertaste. Almost drinkable now due to its elegance, but best in two or three years."

"This new estate was formed after brothers Lorenzo and Carlo (of Fratelli Revello) parted ways in 2016. A different philosophy is evident in the focused fruit and reduced oak imprint. The classic Barolo blends rented vineyards in Serralunga with holdings in La Morra and demonstrates joyful youthfulness without sacrificing a more profound, serious side. It has lovely definition of cherry, nutmeg and brushwood aromas, and succulent acidity which accentuates the bright red berry character before darker, earthy elements take hold. The palate is taut and securely framed with decisive tannins promising a solid mid-term stint in the cellar."

"Pouring a medium red color, the 2021 Barolo displays a notable oak-influenced profile, with aromas of crushed strawberries, cherries, cedar, vanilla, and nutmeg. Medium-bodied, it has refreshing acidity and refined definition, finishing with good length and hints of tangerine citrus. Charming already, it should drink well over the coming decade."

"The 2021 Barolo is a terrific entry-level bottling from Revello. Aromatic, pliant and yet also light on its feet, the 2021 is all charm. Bright acids drive through a core of dark red-toned fruit in this gracious, appealing Barolo. This is a gorgeous wine in its peer group. Drink it over the next handful of years."

"Licorice, red fruit and lavender, with an enveloping floral note. Medium- to full-bodied, this is juicy and succulent, with crisp acidity and angular, fine-grained tannins that frame the wine nicely. Pleasant already, but it will benefit from a couple of years of bottle age."

"The 2022 Barolo is quite the bomb. A burst of sweet red-toned fruit, cedar, spice, mint and pipe tobacco is front and center. This mid-weight, juicy Barolo is everything a wine in its peer group should be: simple, delicious and impeccably crafted."

"Medium red with a garnet hue, the 2020 Barolo is bright and lifted on the nose with aromas of cranberries, burnt orange peel, incense, and dried roses. Medium-bodied and lively, with ripe acidity and a balanced feel, it™s refined and refreshing, with fine tannins and a very well-balanced, even finish. This is a very nice entry to the range and shows a lot of promise. Enjoy it over the next 10 years."

"The 2020 Barolo is everything a wine in this peer group should be: open-knit, inviting and ready to drink. Macerated red cherry, sweet spice, cedar and tobacco are pushed forward to round things out."
