• 100% Barbera sourced from 23 ha. of younger vines grown in two sites: Castagnole and Costigliole where the Bionzo vineyard is located
•  6-20-year-old vines
• Calcareous soil
• 300 meters elevation
• Southern exposure
• Harvested during the last week of September to early October
• Fermentation maceration for 6 or 7 days
• Aged 12 months in a mix of new and old, medium toasted, French oak barrique, plus two months in bottle
• 5,800 cases produced annually
