"The 2023 Barbera Sori del Drago is fabulous. In fact, it's one of the best vintages of this wine I have tasted. Vibrant red-toned fruit, blood orange, cinnamon, mint and rose petal fill out the layers effortlessly. I especially admire the wine's freshness, something that sets the 2023 apart from most previous years. The purity of the fruit is remarkable. Vineyard sites are Brea and Giannetto, plus a new site in Roddino just outside the Barolo zone. This was done entirely in steel."

"The 2021 Barbera Sori del Drago is another rich, sumptuous wine from Brovia. Succulent black cherry, plum, spice, new leather and mocha are all amplified in this potent, lush Barbera. This mouth-filling offering is perhaps a bit burly, but it certainly packs a ton of punch."
