Eight of the best producers from Germany and Austria joined us at Skurnik HQ on the hottest day of the year to serve up some ice-cold Riesling, Grüner, and more.
Last month, we kicked off our annual June Tour in NYC with representatives from across Germany and Austria who poured a standout lineup—including the elegant wines from Ott (Wagram) & Schloss Gobelsburg (Kamptal), the precise yet soulful wines from Schloss Lieser (Mosel), and standouts from newcomer Knewitz (Rheinhessen). Behind the bar, Hans Reisetbauer Jr., Hansi, showed their truly singular and special spirits from Upper Austria, served in cocktail form. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Skurnik German Tasting if we didn’t have the always charismatic wines from Selbach-Oster (Mosel), von Winning (Pfalz), and Dönnhoff (Nahe).
The tour continued on to 16 cities across the country, from D.C. to Honolulu. Check out the NYC highlights below.
