• Part of GlenAllachie’s Virgin Oak Series, which sees Scottish single malt undergo additional maturation in specially selected new wood, each uniquely influencing the GlenAllachie spirit
• Double distilled in copper pot stills from 100% malted barley
• Aged 7 years; primarily aged in ex-bourbon casks; finished for 18 months in new, toasted, medium-char Hungarian oak casks
• A nose bursting with butterscotch, citrus, raisin, and ginger precedes a palate of heather honey, cinnamon, and milk chocolate with lemon drops and caramelized brown sugar on the finish
• Limited US release of only 1,200 bottles
• No added coloring
• Non-chill filtered; 48% ABV

Always the innovator, Master Distiller Billy Walker’s search for the unusual led him to the mountains of northeast Hungary to the Zemplén forest. The region’s rocky volcanic soil, along with its colder climate and higher altitude result in oak with a tight grain—perfect for aging whisky. One of the world’s first single malts finished in new Hungarian oak, expect an aromatic, well-balanced, and wonderfully unique whisky with the signature rich, fruit-forward characteristics of GlenAllachie malt.
