When someone uses the adjective ✨fresh✨ to des

When someone uses the adjective ✨fresh✨ to describe a wine, you might imagine a handsome Catalan man sitting in a field of wildflowers, serenading you with a bottle of wine he made. In the case of the 2024 Garnatxa Blanca from Can Sumoi, "fresh" means all that and much more—it means the breath of the sea blowing over 30-year-old vines, organically farmed at 700 meters above sea level. It means a wine that's joyously alive, made without additives or filtration.

Low in alcohol, rich in citrus notes, and tantalizingly taut and elegant, "fresh" has a new standard—Can Sumoi Garnatxa Blanca, from the one and only Pepe Raventós.
