2019 Grand Portfolio Tasting: Where It All Comes Together!

2019 Grand Portfolio Tasting: Where It All Comes Together!

It seems like our grand tasting gets even grander every year, which is why we’ve taken over the entire Met Pavilion. We wanted you to be able to explore all the sake, cider, wine, and spirits that we have to offer, in comfort. Our portfolio reaches every corner of the planet now, so we had folks flying in from all over to taste with you. They brought old classics, new releases, and some esoterica as well.

We would like to thank each and every supplier who made the journey to be with us for our most exciting and comprehensive tasting of the year.  As much as we would like to believe that the company’s success is attributable to our staff’s intelligence, work ethic, and charm, we are only merchants and our success is entirely dependent on the quality of supplier we represent. Without you all, our phones would be silent and our inboxes empty.  We appreciate your partnership and your friendship.

Next, we would like to articulate our gratitude to you, the customer. Your support has made our greatest dreams come true, and we are reminded of that every day we come to work. Our goal is for this event to accurately depict our tireless commitment to excellence and our profound passion for beverages of all kinds. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, we truly believe that there is not another tasting event on this planet that presents the diversity, breadth, or quality on offer beyond our GPT.

Lastly, we’d like to thank our staff. Our employees work with our entire family, and in many cases, for several decades. The assiduous efforts of our staff have encouraged and empowered our vision. Thank you for your ideas, your devotion, and your verve. Together, we have accomplished so much, and the best is yet to come.
