Booze & Bubbles: A Skurnik Wines Tasting

Booze & Bubbles: A Skurnik Wines Tasting

Thank you to all that could join our Booze & Bubbles Tasting, our fall tasting where spirits are now a headlining act!

Craft Spirits has remained our largest growth category for seven years running! We’ve been adding suppliers at a furious pace (600 SKUs available now). Actually, we do our best to say “no,” but we’re being offered such good juice, we really can’t. There’s far too many highlights to list here, just know that we brought all of our most prized bottles: pot-stilled rums, single barrel bourbons, exotically seasoned gins, exquisite Japanese whiskies, and of course, all of the agave; ALL OF IT. We had distillers fly in from all over the world to taste their finest selections with you.

And should you have desired to taste through the entire lineup of 22 unique Champagne houses, we had you covered there too. For Skurnik, before there was booze, there was bubbles. A whole lot of them. Sparkling wine is a category that we take very seriously. Our guests found all the styles here, brut, extra-brut, millésime, rosé, both assemblage and saignée, and even some demi-sec. In addition to representing the full breadth of terroirs in Champagne, we also had over 100 spectacular offerings from all over the world. There was top tier Sekt, Crémant, petillant, Cava, Franciacorta, and more. If it’s got bubbles (intentionally) and it tastes great, we’re down with it.

We had the most amazing time at the Prince George Ballroom this year – and hope you did too!

Check out some of the highlights below!
