  • 100% Azul aka Blue Weber (Agave tequilana) matured 5–6 years, grown at elevations over 4,600 feet in Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco
  • Cooked 24 hours in a low-pressure autoclave with a 6-hour pre-cook and a 6-hour rest
  • Crushed using a screw mill and roller mill
  • Fermented in stainless steel tanks using deep well water and proprietary yeast
  • Blend of copper pot- and copper column-distilled tequilas
  • Aged 9 years in casks made from two varieties of American oak
  • Delectable aromas of freshly baked Dutch baby, nougat, coconut, and mace with a creamy palate highlighting notes of apple brandy, clove, espresso, and tangerine

Fuenteseca 9 Year is composed of a blend of tequilas aged in two different varieties of American oak barrels. 65% of the blend was double pot-distilled and aged in American white oak casks while the remaining 35% was distilled in a two-column still and aged in medium toast Northern red oak casks.
