The Cascahuín distillery is capable of crafting a mind-boggling number of tequila marques by calibrating a variety of production methods including milling, cooking, fermenting, and distilling; this marque was specifically selected by John and Lucie Melvin with the Rosales family for Montagave tequila. Originally chosen for its harmony with French oak and red wine, Montagave now offers this expression completely unaged in oak, but rather rested in a concrete egg to best preserve its character.
