  • Aged 14 months in French oak and ex–bourbon barrels
  • Confectionary aromas of plantain, marzipan, and toasted marshmallow, followed by dried cherry, black pepper, nutmeg, caramel cream, and chickpea on the palate

The final batch of Cabal produced at the Montes family’s original fábrica, known as Las Americas (NOM 1480), this exceedingly specific aging regimen begins with equal parts ex–Buffalo Trace and ex–Woodford Reserve tequila finished in ex–Old Forester barrels, blended and subsequently aged in neutral French oak before being proofed to 44% ABV. This is the final release to feature Cabal’s original “horse head” bottle design, which will be reserved in the future for private barrel selections only.
