  • Inviting aromas of blonde roast coffee, malted milk balls, and Tahitian vanilla transition to a palate of peppery & citrusy galangal root, fresh tobacco, and cinnamon, with elegant notes of saline and cherry blossom lingering on the finish
  • Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 56.9% (ABV may vary release to release)

New Riff’s first single malt displays a passion for malted barley that has been part of the distillery’s DNA since its inception. Paying homage to classic European single malt expressions through the lens of traditional Kentucky sour mash fermentation, the whiskey also reflects Head Distiller Brian Sprance’s extensive experience in brewing, evidenced by the beer-inspired mash bills that lend further character to the vatting. Years of experimentation have paid off in a beautifully integrated whiskey and an exciting addition to the burgeoning American single malt category.
