• Aged a minimum of 11 years: approximately 7 years in ex-bourbon casks followed by 4 years in ex-Palo Cortado sherry puncheons and hogsheads from Cadiz, Spain
• Casks are selected and blended by Master Distiller Billy Walker
• The nose offers bright cinnamon spice leading to butterscotch, fresh plums, raisin, and honey. The palate balances the winey dryness of the sherry with more honey, maraschino cherry, baking spice, and plum jam accented by mocha and dark chocolate. The sherry shines through on the finish, which is long and structured.

The rarity of the expression further translates into scarcity for barrel sourcing, making this whisky’s cask finish rarer still. Adding an exclamation point to the release, this expression is bottled at a slightly higher ABV than other GlenAllachie expressions, providing an extra boost to the distinctive Palo Cortado cask flavors.
