• Distilled at MGP in Indiana; aged, blended, and bottled in Frankfort, Kentucky, by Pinhook Co-founder and Master Blender Sean Josephs
• Mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley
• Aged 10 years
• Vatting of 25 barrels
• On the nose, ample layers of dried fig, white chocolate, molasses cookie, and black pepper lead to an equally ample palate packed full with dates, roasted almonds, burnt honey, and piney spice
• Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 53% ABV

The “Silver Wax” Rye Vertical Series follows a tranche of 450 MGP barrels (with similar fill dates and the classic 95/5 mash bill) as they age from 4 to16 years. For each vintage, barrels with complementary features and optimal maturity are vatted and proofed to showcase the best expression of the rye at that age, and as these releases get higher in age statement and smaller in size, each bottling becomes more coveted than the one before.
