"The 2023 Pinot Noir Reserve is a vibrant effort, offering crushed blueberries and strawberries laced with sweet spice. Inner sweetness emerges on the nose, offset by crisp wild berry fruit and a hint of citrus. The finish brings gentle tannic tension and a pleasantly tart sensation that is long yet fresh."

"The bright ruby 2022 Pinot Noir Reserve is floral and pretty on the nose, with lots of fresh flowers, grenadine, a fine spice, and dusty earth. Medium-bodied, it fills the palate with a plush, ripe tannins, even acidity, and a light savory finish with delicate notes of tea leaf. It's approachable now but is going to drink well over the coming 8-10 years. I like the savory note that comes through on the finish as well as the sweet ripe fruit."

"The 2022 Pinot Noir Reserve is vividly fruit-focused with a burst of crushed raspberries, lavender and peppery rose. Silky and sleek, this mixes tart red berries with hints of spicy citrus carried over a core of zesty acidity. This tapers off with steely minerality and palpable with silty tannins that add a pleasantly tactile feel."

"Patricia Green Cellars's entry-level cuvée, the 2022 Pinot Noir Reserve, comes mainly from the Freedom Hill, Hyland and Patricia Green Estate vineyards and includes smaller portions from several of the other premier vineyards in their portfolio. Matured in 7% new French oak, it's earthy on the nose, its core of wild berries accented by notes of mushrooms, damp earth and autumn leaves. The medium-bodied palate is soft and silky with generous layers of bright, perfumed fruit and a long, fragrant finish. 3,526 cases were made."
