"Very firm, focused and concentrated, showing pure black cherries and blackcurrants on a lively frame of nervy acidity and moderate tannins. Mouthwatering acidity, with fruit expanding on the palate and spices like cloves and cinnamon developing. Drink now or hold."

"This impressive Pinot is polished and detailed, offering dynamic flavors of raspberry and blueberry, with mineral and brown baking spice hints that build richness toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2035. From Oregon. —T.F."

"This is 77% estate fruit, in the 2023 vintage of Mt Jefferson (up from 64% in the 2021 vintage); it's no average blend. The winemaking team says that some impressive barrels make it to this bottle. ÁWe make all of our wines to be vineyard designates, and many of those wines make it to this cuv,e,, says winemaker Daniel Estrin. Aromatically alluring with red fruits, spicy clove and savoury whisps of mint. The palate shows ample texture, tannin and great pops of fruit, red berries, and blood orange press across the palate, trailing savoury herbs and spice."

"The 2023 Pinot Noir Mt. Jefferson Cuvee is 77% estate fruit, sourced from 250 to 800 feet in elevation. It captures the character of the Eola-Amity Hills in this vintage, overdelivering with notes of ripe cherries, leather, dark spices, and stony persistence. The tannins are ripe and chalky, the acidity is balanced, and the length is notable. Tasted twice, the palate has a plush texture and a graceful yet warming feel. This is the calling card of the estate and a great value. Drink 2025-2035."

"The 2023 Pinot Noir Mt. Jefferson Cuvée blends dusty rose, licorice and orange-tinged wild strawberries. Soothingly round and pure in style, it offers crisp red berry fruits and mineral tones complemented by pretty inner florals. Gently tannic and long, the palate leaves a pleasantly chewy sensation and finishes with a tart cranberry twang. As of 2023, the Mt. Jefferson Cuvée uses 77% estate fruit. It is a fantastic value."

"A lively, precise and well-composed pinot with notes of sour cherries, red currants, crushed roses and mild spices on the nose, followed through to a medium body with bright acidity. It's crisp and spot-on, with succulent wild berries at the center and verve throughout. Drink or hold."

"The 2022 Pinot Noir Jessie Vineyard Mt. Jefferson Cuvee is gorgeous out of the gate, offering a floral and fresh profile revealing notes of incense and ripe wild raspberries. Medium-bodied and elegant but structured, it has a mouth-filling, rich texture, with ripe tannins and great energy. The acidity is even and ripe, but there's still vibrant energy to it."

"Wonderfully savoury, fresh mint, gravel dust and fresh wild strawberries. Country berries offer an elegant rusticity to the front palate, savoury herbs and white pepper, a new height for Mt Jefferson."

"Wildly exotic, the 2022 Pinot Noir Mt. Jefferson Cuv,e captivates with its seductive blend of dried flowers, incense, rosemary and dried strawberries. This is wonderfully fresh, nearly crunchy in feel, with stimulating acidity offsetting its tart red fruits and hints of sour citrus that pucker the cheeks. The 2022 finishes with youthful tension, lightly structured yet cooling and fresh, leaving suggestions of tart raspberry. About 52% whole cluster fermentation."

"The 2022 Mt. Jefferson Cuvee Pinot Noir includes three-quarters estate fruit and one-quarter purchased fruit sourced from across the Eola-Amity Hills. Fifty-two percent whole clusters were used, and the wine was matured for 10 months in 22% new French oak. It has layered aromas of cranberry sauce, pomegranate, cardamom, forest floor and mushrooms. The medium-bodied palate features concentrated layers of earth-laced fruit structured by clay-textured tannins and vibrant acidity, and it has a long, spicy finish. 11,755 cases were made."
