“This 6-year-old rye comes in at a crystal-clear frequency of 101.1 proof. This barrel sings a song of butterscotch and pecan pie; a note of freshly cut grass sneaks in there in a very pleasant way to complement the darker and richer flavors. Lime zest and sandalwood fill the glass and greet your nose with each sniff. The flavors of this barrel play on a very wide spectrum, but when you taste, everything comes together so beautifully.
