Inchgower 10 Year Cask 813820 (Ex-Bourbon Barrel and Ex-Sherry Hogshead)

• Single malt Speyside Scotch whisky distilled at Inchgower Distillery, selected and bottled by Single Cask Nation
• Vatting of two casks, both distilled at Inchgower in December of 2011
• Matured over 10 years
• Casks aged separately, one in a refill bourbon barrel and one in a 1^st-fill Oloroso hogshead; married and bottled in October 2022
• A soft yet focused nose of barley sugar, dried apricot, orange blossom honey, and dried tobacco leads to an oily opening palate of licorice and fondant sweetness. All gives way to cigar box and ground ginger spice before finishing with drying oak and earthiness.
• 430 bottles produced
• No added coloring
• Non-chill filtered; 54.5% ABV

Inchgower is commonly experienced as the primary component in the popular Bell’s blended Scotch—single malt bottlings from this distillery are a limited few. This double cask blend deftly harnesses Inchgower’s spicy earthiness with Oloroso depth.
