"The 2021 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru has an earthy nose that shows more whole cluster influence than its peers. Still, there is fine delineation and it has personality. The palate is medium-bodied with quite soft tannins, rendering this one of the more approachable Clos de Vougeot in this vintage. Not complex at first, but that is deceiving as it reveals its sophistication with air and it is utterly charming. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting."
