Exploring the Montagne with Champagne Pierre Paillard

Earlier this month, we hosted guests from the New York wine community for a remarkable seminar with Quentin Paillard of Champagne Pierre Paillard, exploring the terroir of the Montagne de Reims through the domaine’s remarkable 2019s.

Quentin, along with his brother Antoine, is the 8th generation in his family to grow vines in the historic Grand Cru village of Bouzy. Since they began working with their father Benoit over 15 years ago, the visionary brothers have taken their domaine to new heights, elevating the sustainable farming to organic certification, allowing them to make some of the most exquisitely vinous and textured wines in all of Champagne.

Watch the seminar below to learn about Champagne Pierre Paillard and what makes this Pinot Noir-dominant part of Champagne so special.
