The May Price Guide: Making a Splash!

The May Price Guide: Making a Splash!
Skurnik Wines proudly welcomes Cannonball and Angels & Cowboys wines to NY/NJ!

Yoav Gilat, founder, traded in his law career for an opportunity to consult for some of today’s best-known wineries, which instilled in him a deep passion for wine. The combination of his appreciation for wine and business acumen provided him the vision for Cannonball – delicious Cabernet Sauvignon under $20. He succeeded remarkably, and following the success of the Cabernet, the line was expanded with Chardonnay, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc, all of which deliver on the same high-quality expectations.

Angels & Cowboys, Yoav’s second brand, is a collaboration with the vision of a Zinfandel-based proprietary red wine from Sonoma County. After an introduction to graphic designer (and now label maker) Michael Schwab, the brand, image, and wine components all came together organically. The original plan for Angels & Cowboys was solely the red wine, but the intrigue and excitement of rosé was impossible for them to ignore. The inaugural vintage of Angels & Cowboys Rosé far exceeded expectations, laying the ground as an established piece of the portfolio.
