"The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru has a delightful, quite plush bouquet with ebullient red cherry and wild strawberry fruit, becoming ever more floral with time in the glass. Seductive (as Suchots ought to be) and gradually becomes pastille-like. The palate is well balanced with saturated tannins, a keen line of acidity, brisk red fruit and palpable nervosité towards the cassis-tinged finish. Wonderful. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting."
