Tasting Notes
The Pinot Noir grapes for the rosé come from the village of Vias in the Pays d’Oc, a region on the Mediterranean coast of southern France famous for its wine production. Planted in rocky, volcanic soils, the vines are more than twenty years old. After harvest, the grape clusters are gently pressed, and the juice remains in contact with the berry skins just long enough to give this wine its classic pale pink hue. The wine remains in stainless steel vessels until bottling to maintain its mineral core and juicy freshness.
Enticing ripe pear, cantaloupe, and delicate apple blossom aromas lead into a vibrant strawberry and honeydew melon palate. A touch of tropical fruit lingers, giving way to a crisp, mineral-driven finish with subtle stony undertones. This vintage shows a refreshingly brilliant acidity that will have you coming back for sip after sip.
