La Mesa del Charco is the first single-estate Lágrimas release produced using agave grown by the Rosales family and distilled at Cascahuín. The La Mesa del Charco field sits nestled in a valley 1,469 meters above sea level, a wild landscape where the agave grows among campanilla flowers, eucalyptus, and guamuchile (Madras thorn) trees. Harvested once mature, the agave reaches an average of 38 °Brix. After distillation, this reposado was rested in well-used ex–bourbon casks, allowing the rich agave flavor to shine.
