"The 2022 Syrah Wallah Wallah Special #16, bottled in magnums, was matured for 18 months in around 20% new French oak. It has slowly opening scents of cassis, juniper, lilac, gravel and coffee beans. The full-bodied palate is a touch more open at this stage with dark, layered, iron-laced fruit. It's framed by refined, chalky tannins and vibrant acidity and has a long, nuanced finish. It blossoms dramatically with air and is a great candidate for long term cellaring. 476 cases were made."
