- Distilled on a Vendome copper column still and doubler
- Aged in a variety of char #1–4 Kentucky oak barrels from Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky; barrels are air-dried to season for 18–24 months and toasted before charring

- On the nose high tones of mint and eucalyptus are grounded by clove, chocolate, and honey; plenty of rye spice and white pepper on the palate
- Non-chill filtered; 50% ABV
A tribute to the original “Old 1776” brand introduced by James Pepper in the 1880s, this core offering is 100% rye, raw and malted. Balanced and lightly spicy, it’s a satisfying neat pour that’s a Sazerac waiting to happen.
