"The 2022 Saint-Véran En Crêche articulates its terroir extremely well, crushed stone intermixed with Crustacea and almost slate-like scents. Fine precision. The palate is well balanced with a crisp entry, then it dovetails into slightly richer, tropical fruit while never impeding the terroir expression. This is very well crafted with plenty of character."

"After a run of Chablis, this shows the riper fruit profile of vineyards further south. Also herbal and a touch peppery. Mouth-watering acidity balancing the generous fruit, crisp and rounded at the same time. Lots of fruity pleasure leading to a nicely dry finish. (JH)"
