"The 2022 Saint-Aubin Charmois 1er Cru has shaken off its reduction since I tasted it in barrel, clean and precise. Lemon sherbet and orange zest come through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly honeyed entry and just that faintest dab of strawberry. It's less tangy than I remember with that candied, somewhat viscous finish. Lovely. Tasted at the Stannary Wines dinner in London with Thierry Pillot."
