• Limited edition small batch American single malt whisky produced by Tenmile Distillery in Wassaic, New York
• 100% unpeated, floor-malted New York State barley sourced from Hudson Valley Malt in Germantown, New York
• Water for production comes from a well on the Tenmile property
• Fermented for 7 days in a temperature-controlled closed-top stainless steel fermenter
• Twice distilled in Forsyths copper pot stills
• Aged for 4 years in an 80/20 combination of first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and first-fill ex-Oloroso sherry casks from Bodega José y Miguel Martín in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain
• Once the separate maturations are complete, the spirit is blended and allowed to homogenize for up to 60 days prior to being proofed down and bottled
• The nose offers a lively balance of warm cereal, maritime brine, toasted hazelnuts, and late-summer orchard fruit. The palate, which is delicately buttery, introduces a familiar oxidative twang plus nuances of stewed fig and tangerine. Fresh cereal and a fine sense of barrel linger on the finish.
