"A woodsy mix of crushed black cherries, red plums and grilled sage wafts up from the 2020 Sangiovese San Biagio. This is seductively round and plush with ripe wild berries and sour citrus that excite the senses. Inner earth tones are left to linger, leaving a pleasantly rustic feel to the finish, as this tapers off with medium length and bitter licorice flourish."
