"The 2023 Saint Véran Prélude, which comes from the most precocious vines around Chasselas, is raised 50% in stainless steel and the rest in demi-muids and foudres. It has a fine nose with detailed yellow fruit and waxy aromas, again just the veil of reduction that will lift with time. The palate is more expressive with a silver bead of acidity, orange rind and light apricot notes, lively with a touch of lemongrass on the finish. Give this a year in bottle."
