"The 2021 Saint-Aubin La Chatenière 1er Cru has a more nuanced bouquet with less reduction than some of its peers. It allows the mineralité to show through and feels well defined. The palate is fresh on the entry with lime and light mango notes, leaning a little towards the more tropical side of things and perhaps just missing some complexity on the finish. But it is a Saint-Aubin that wants to be enjoyed and you can't say fairer than that. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting."
