"The 2022 Pinot Noir Mineral Springs Ranch is spicy, with nuances of white pepper, dusty rose and dried strawberries. Its soft texture offers a tart core of fruit to balance as crisp mineral tones and inner florals arch across the palate. Structured yet balanced and long, this 2022 finishes with admirable length and a sour citrus tinge that adds freshness. Patience is suggested."

"If you placed a bowl of blackberries next to a plate of sugar cookies filled with bits of blueberry, you might get a sense of how comforting this wine smells. The flavors are a bit more restrained, with blackberries and saline matching up with a healthy shot of black tea. There™s blazing acidity here to accompany the wine™s velvety tannins and restrained alcohol. Editor™s Choice. "M.A"

"#4 Top Wines of the USA 2025: The tension and linearity of this wine are incredible, as fresh, vivid fruit flavors ride an electric wave of bracing acidity from the first whiff to the long, lingering finish. Layers of haunting mushroom, iron and bay leaf nuances meet cranberries, sour cherries, rhubarb and black tea flavors that linger and echo after the last sip. An impeccable wine for drinking now through at least 2032."

"Subtly spiced and deeply fruity, this wine has a great track record for improving with age. Rich in dark plums, black cherries, mint, cinnamon and pine accents. So layered and complex, mouth-filling but well balanced by moderate tannins and good acidity. From biodynamically grown grapes. Best from 2027."

"The exposure that Mineral Springs has to the winds coming out of the Van Duzer Corridor hit the estate head-on and has a significant effect, cooling during hot times and providing warmth during colder times. It also dries out the air around vines, creating additional vine stress. This creates more skin tannin, barrel-aged for 12 months. Four months in tank allows the wine to move away from oxygen pungent earth and floral aromatics with a kiss of white pepper and mint to lift. An ample structure sets the frame for red fruit and savoury spices. 40-50% whole cluster year in and year out on average."

"This wine reminds me that I live in Oregon. It smells like the loamy soil and pine needles I encounter on forest walks. At the same time, the cherry-flavored pipe tobacco and well-worn Pendleton wool shirt aromas remind me of campfire sessions at the beach. The wine™s ele¬gant texture befits its nice acidity and firm tannins without being harsh. Ripe blackberry and sour¬dough bread flavors are spiced up by Thai basil and black pepper. Editor™s Choice. "Detailed and finely focused, this refined red offers expressive raspberry and guava flavors laced with mineral, forest floor and black tea tones as this builds tension and richness toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2032. 2,400 cases made."

"A medium, matte-red color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Mineral Springs Ranch is ripe with autumnal spiced aromas of baked cherries, mushroom-covered earth, walnut, and baking spice. The palate is medium-bodied, with ripe tannins and a more modest feel through the finish. It™s showing some development at this tasting and I would recommend drinking it over the next 6-7 years."

"The 2021 Pinot Noir Mineral Springs Ranch takes some time to shake off brown sugar and baking spice on the nose and reveal stewed strawberry and raspberry, damp earth and dried herbs. The light-bodied palate is chalky and refreshing with an understated core of fruit and a spicy finish. It will benefit from 2-3 years in bottle."

"Subtle nose with ripe red cherry and spice. The palate has more freshness and herbaceousness than the 2015, with fresh acidity and a complexity of cinnamon spice and red fruit. Harder tannins than the 2018 white label and a bit leaner. Very long and lovely. (SJC)"
