"Soter crafts its "Estates" bottling as a recognition of the diversity and quality of top vineyard sites located across the northern Willamette Valley, with fruit sourced from three of the winery's holdings: the Mineral Springs Vineyard, Ribbon Ridge Estate, and Tarren Vineyard. It feels like this wine represents the best of these sites. It has a subtle nose with tart cranberries, cherries, and an earthy note. The palate is delicate with active acidity and a silky texture."

"A brilliant, composed and polished wine from Tony Soter that captures fresh, pure fruit flavors on an elegant texture. Strawberry, black cherry and subtle pine aromas lead to tangy red cherries, orange zest and creme de cassis on the palate. A medium body and moderate tannins complete the picture. Made from certified sustainable grapes. Drink now or hold."

"A deep ruby red color, the 2023 Pinot Noir Estates boasts attractive aromatics, featuring notes of red cherries, cedar, lifted spices, and potpourri. Medium-bodied, it has ripe tannins, refreshing ripe acidity, and chalky richness of texture through the finish, with lightly warming spice. Drink 2025-2035."

"The 2023 Pinot Noir opens with a cascade of violet and lavender tones that give way to crushed blackberries. Round textures and a lifted personality soothe the palate as vibrantly ripe red and blue fruits swirl throughout. Lively and spry, it leaves nuanced tannins and a tinge of spice while tapering off with medium length."

"Estates is an invitation to walk in the garden to smell aromas like blackcap raspberries that are ready to pick, pine needles from that tree that's too close to the house and catmint. This medium-bodied venture has a sturdy tannic structure and all the black cherries your palate can handle. A bittersweet horehound-candy flavor shows up on the moderately long finish. —M.A."

"This bottling is a newer project that happened a bit by accident according to winemaker Chris Fladwood. A growth of estate holdings in Eola-Amity Hills, Mineral Springs in the Yamhill Carlton and Ribbon Ridge AVAs. Intense blue fruits are from Eola-Amity, earth is from MS, and spice is from Ribbon Ridge. A melange of red fruits, spice and wintergreen, concentrated blue fruits, wild herbs, and white pepper kiss the finish."

"The 2022 Pinot Noir Estate is wonderfully refined, displaying a pure blend of dried strawberries, minty herbs and hints of split pine. This is soothingly round, with a pleasant inner sweetness and crisp red and blue fruits that flow across a stream of juicy acidity. Violet inner florals echo throughout as the 2022 finishes with a pleasantly chewy sensation. A coating of sweet tannins promises years of positive development."

"The ruby red 2022 Pinot Noir Soter Vineyards Estates saw 25% whole clusters at fermentation and spent 10 months in 30% new French oak prior to release. In the glass, it boasts notes of ripe cherries, refined lifted spices, dried herbs, and dusty earth. The palate offers a medium frame with dusty tannins, crunchy fresh fruit, refreshing acidity, and a clean finish. It's going to show its best over the coming 5-6 years."

"The 2022 Pinot Noir Estates has alluring scents of pomegranate, rhubarb, blood orange, tobacco and dried herbs. The medium-bodied palate is finely chalky with fireworks of fresh acidity. Its deep core of spicy fruit is immediately approachable, and a flourish of floral perfume defines the long finish."

"The 2021 Pinot Noir Estate pours a saturated youthful ruby-red and reveals well-balanced layers of aromas of scorched earth, pine resin, and preserved black cherry. Elegant and full-bodied, it has a refined texture, fine tannins, and a clean, stony finish. It is a very attractive, ripe wine to enjoy over the next 5-7 years."

"The 2021 Pinot Noir Estates has a medium ruby color and scents of briary fruit with touches of cinnamon, citrus peel and fir. Medium-bodied, soft and juicy, it has notably concentrated fruit and a long, spicy finish. This is very easy to drink!"
