Review:
Inky-ruby. Aromas of blackberry, cola, chocolate syrup and anise, with a spicy topnote. Weighty, ripe dark berry flavors pick up a peppery note with aeration. Finishes creamy and quite long, with lingering cocoa and vanilla flavors and suave tannins. Hides its 14% alcohol well, but strikes me as being less refined than the 2014 Il Moro.
