"The 2021 Nero d'Avola Il Moro is remarkably pretty. It opens with a cascade of blue and purple florals, ginger and citrus-spiked blackberries. Supremely juicy and vibrant in character, it splashes across the palate with depths of tart wild berry fruit driven by brisk acidity and a twang of blood orange. The 2021 lingers with medium length, a touch of licorice and a hint of citrus."

"Currants, black plums, burnt lemons and tobacco on the nose. It's medium-bodied, with excellent freshness to the tarry black fruit. Fine tannins. From organically grown grapes. Drink now."

"The 2020 Nero d'Avola Il Moro lifts from the glass with an herbal blend of crushed wild berries, stone dust and balsamic spice. Luxuriously smooth yet lifted in feel, it sweeps across the palate with ripe red and blue fruits over a tantalizing core of zesty acidity. The 2020 tapers off perfumed and long, with a staining of primary concentration and gently grippy tannins that frame the experience well."
