"Ripe cherries and raspberries with hints of kirsch and red flowers on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied with rich fruit and powdery tannins, finishing balanced and persistent. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold."

"From antiquity to today the Farappato grape has been here in the Ragusa province of Sicily. And the Jacono family has been here since the 19th century making wine from this native grape. To this day they offer one of the best examples on the market. Frappato is a great served chilled, and this is one of the best on the market. It has a scented, floral nose with berries and anise aromas. I smell Toblerone and I'm not mad at it. It has a wonderful palate with a beautiful weighted yet vibrant texture, bursting with acidity."

"Half the pleasure of this wine comes from its ebullient aromas of thyme, rosemary and lavender, those same scents infusing flavors of tangy strawberry and orange peel. Fresh and high-toned, it™s a match for poultry or grilled vegetables."

"A medium ruby in the glass, the nose opens up with vibrant red fruit, including fresh pomegranate, cherries, and plums. A saline backbone carries the wine in a savory direction with herbs and a touch of balsamic. Excellent paired with olives and mezze. Low tannins, light body, and low alcohol at 12.5% make this a crushable wine."

"Juicy flavors of dried raspberry and wild strawberry fruit are laced with an aromatic skein of rooibos tea, blood orange peel, dill, anise and clove notes. A rich and focused red in a light frame, defined nicely by fine, taut tannins and vivid acidity. Drink now through 2031."A.N."

"A remarkably pretty blend of violets, blood orange, cloves and crushed blackberries forms an inviting bouquet as the 2023 Il Frappato opens in the glass. It washes across the palate with ripe wild berry fruits and hints of tropical citrus, all carried by a stream of zesty acidity. The 2023 finishes long with a lasting primary concentration, maintaining fantastic freshness all the way through. This fresh and lively Frappato should pair beautifully with an extensive array of cuisines."
