"The 2023 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a tightly wound nose with dark berry fruit, Italian herbs and light marine scents. It is attractive, albeit without the charm of the best Echézeaux this vintage. The palate has silky-smooth tannins—its main USP perhaps—gliding across the mouth with black cherry and blueberry fruit. Saturated in style with a degree of tenderness, this is a seductive Grand Cru that will drink earlier than some of Arlaud's other Grand Crus."
