"Originating from limestone soils on the northern side of the appellation and vinified this year in a new 350-liter Stockinger barrel, the 2024 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru blossoms in the glass with aromas of cherry, plum and timut pepper, mingled with hints of woodsmoke. Medium- to full-bodied, supple and layered, the palate is shaped by powdery tannins, vibrant acidity and a persistent finish. It ranks among Arnaud Mortet™s high points under his own label."

"The 2023 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru comes from the north part of the vineyard. It was vinified with 80% whole bunches, with the central stem removed from each cluster. This has a floral bouquet of violet and iris flower, very pure and sensual. The palate is medium-bodied with a cashmere texture that disguises the backbone underneath. Lightly spiced with hints of clove and white pepper, it gently fans out on the persistent finish. Excellent."
