"So fresh, linear and energized. Great acidity and good ripeness come together beautifully in this well-balanced wine. Lemon zest, lemon thyme, green apples and subtle baking spices. It's laser-focused and built for extended aging for those with patience. Drinkable now, but best from 2028."

"Grafted over from Pinot Noir, the 2023 Chardonnay Louis Vineyard is straw/yellow and opens with notes of lemon verbena, pear, wet stones, and melon. Savory and medium-bodied, it shows briny hints of seashell and an elegant, chalky texture, balanced by an appealingly fruity and approachable character. Drink over the next 10 years."

"The 2023 Chardonnay Louise Vineyard comes from Dijon clone vines planted in 1995 in volcanic soils. It was barrel-fermented and matured for 11 months in 52% new French oak, plus an additional five months in stainless steel. It has intense aromas of peach, lemongrass, creme brulee and musky floral perfume. The medium-bodied palate has a silky texture and expansive, honey-nut flavors. It's balanced by fireworks of fresh acidity and has a long, dynamic finish. 103 cases were made."

"Vivid yellow apples give way to chamomile, mint and sweet smoke as the 2023 Chardonnay Louise Vineyard blossoms in the glass. Supple and round, it soothes with seamless textural girth as ripe orchard fruit swirls across a core of brisk acidity. Lemony concentration lingers, refreshing the senses and a hint of gingery spice adds a beautiful punctuation to the experience."
