- With deep-flashing copper in the glass, this bourbon opens with a rich sensation of baked apples spiced with nutmeg, dripping with caramel, and accented with cedar. The palate is warm and satisfying, developing into cherry, clove, and brown sugar, with a current of new leather.
- Non-chill filtered; 52% ABV
As with the prior iteration of the Collaboration Series, Pinhook co-founder and master blender Sean Josephs stays close to his New Orleans home, collaborating with the founders of Link Restaurant Group, Donald Link and Stephen Stryjewski. With six James Beard awards under their toques, these chefs epitomize the vibrant energy and creativity that has revived the Big Easy’s restaurant scene in the post-Katrina years. Unsurprisingly, culinary expertise lends itself perfectly to the blending table, and this 6-year-aged, impeccably balanced, double-barreled bourbon is layered with flavor and built for easy sipping. In keeping with past releases, this limited edition whiskey financially supports the charitable efforts of its collaborators—in this case, the Link Stryjewski Foundation, created in 2015 to “help break the cycle of violence and poverty by expanding access to quality education and job training for young people.”
