Blended Whiskey 'Seasons'

• Blended American whiskey from Proof and Wood’s Curated Collection; sourced, blended, and bottled by Proof and Wood in Bardstown, Kentucky
• Proof and Wood’s second release under the “Seasons” label. It features a spirit aged for an unusually long period of time (a TN Bourbon from 2003 that has endured over 72 seasons in barrel) balanced with younger whiskies.
• Aged 8–18 years
• Composed of Kentucky whiskey distilled from 99% corn in 2013, bourbon (mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% barley) distilled in Indiana in 2015, American light whiskey distilled in Indiana in 2007, and Tennesse bourbon distilled in 2003
• Finished in used American rye barrels for 8 weeks; blended and bottled in 2021
• A nose of creamy vanilla with hints of mint transitions to a dynamic palate of rich brown sugar and Red Hot spice with notes of bright citrus, cherry, and crème brûlée. Cinnamon-forward baking spice lingers on the finish.
• 52.5% ABV 

The corn whiskey and bourbon in this blend offer a sweet counterpoint to the musty notes of the older TN Bourbon, allowing desirable older flavors to be highlighted while balancing some of the harshness of the wood. The American light whiskey does a great job of unifying the blend, bringing lightness and fruit to the flavor profile while adding some spicy cinnamon and clove-like notes to the finish.
